Michael Brooks is the Director of Funeral Products for the UK and Ireland market and has manged the business since 2016 when he and his wife made the move from Toronto, Canada to London.
Michael says that by having a full-time presence inside the UK it has allowed him to forge stronger relationships and to work more hands on with their valued clients. Since 2016, Michael has taken a more Educational approach vs. a Sales approach when working with his Funeral Director and Crematorium clients. By sharing best practices and approaches used in other markets it has proven to help build the confidence of those working directly with the family; to help remove the worry of presenting any sort of “up-sell feeling” to the family. Michael suggests that we need not shy away from discussing the remembrance and memorialisation options with the family as there are many new and beautiful ways to remember a loved one; many that the family may not know are available. Helping the family find the perfect way to remember their loved one is a service they will never forget.
